About Us

Mediwat Nigeria Limited established in 1996 by group of Kano State Citizens in order to provide the public with qualitative services with regards to Water Supply Projects, Water Quality Assessment and Medical investigations in relation to Water and Waste Water. These services were then only provided by Governmental Institutions like Water Corporations and Hospitals. This made MEDIWAT to be the pioneer company in the Northern States of Nigerian providing Private Consulting Services with regards to Medical and Water Quality Consultations. The quality of services provided by this company as a result of its hardworking professional staff in their field made MEDIWAT a house hold name. It was not surprising when the former Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) made it one of its Consulting Firms to take responsibility of Water Quality Assessment for all Boreholes and drinking water projects for the States of Kano, Jigawa, Yobe, Bauchi and Bornu. Private Companies were not left out in requiring the services of Mediwat, these include the Giant Ashaka Cement PLC, and NAFDAC. Presently the company is engaged with other well-known drilling companies, among which are Fortia Waters, Hydroflow, Geoproject, Sani Civil Engineering, Geohydro, and Tripod Engineering Consulting to name but a few, executing water projects of constructing motorized boreholes and hand pumps (Constituency Projects) on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria and being supervised by the Hadejia Jama'are River Basin Authority (HJRBA). Mediwat is not only among the contractors of the projects, but also was charged with the responsibility of determining the quality of water being produced in this vital public project.
